QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jun 16 2011, 09:23 PM) Would prefer signing people like him actually. His team relegated. He has not much choice in terms of picking team. Meaning, we get better chance of signing him. Definitely helps us in Asia market and satisfying SC desire of us signing asian player. Gotta love Park Chul Young, a good lad that will definitely boost our squad depth.. at such a good price..And maybe he wont mind warming the bench sometimes like Park Ji Sung too. Anyway, judging the news I m reading lately, I guess we will soon the most hatred club by other club supporters in Premier League by keep raiding their club for players. Newcastle fans already annoyed with us signing Carrol. Now, we are linked with Jonas and Enrique again. Sunderland fans already upset with us signing their brightest prospect in the name of Henderson. Imagine if we snatch Dann/Cahill away.... Birmingham and Bolton gonna hate us like the rest do Anyhow that'll be good for the next next season, where hopefully we'll play in CL again. I don't mind Liverpool to be the most hated English club by other club supporters as long as we win titles. Man Utd became that because of that, no? |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jun 22 2011, 05:01 PM) If you ask me, I would actually prefer Carra to be the captain any day. I have seen too many times that Gerrard just walked away when his teammates were involved with on pitch argument with official. Normally, it was Alonso or Carra that helped them out. It was until last season, after Kenny took over that Gerrard starting to protect his teammates. Seen that when he stood up and screw a Portuguese player crying for barbie doll when that Portuguese player tried to get Carra sent off. And it's not surprising he was trying to protect Carra because they came thru the rank together but will he do the same for others? That, I wonder. +1Carra is more steel-blooded than Stevie. Honestly he's a better leader than our current captain. |

QUOTE(weichieh007 @ Jun 23 2011, 05:25 PM) It's sad to see more forumers seems to go along the less passionate/ supportive view on the Gerrard discussions. First there was bits of suggestion of stripping his captaincy, then there were pieces of acceptance in selling him to other clubs. Where's the passion mate? There're no suggestion of stripping his captaincy. Don't be so sensitive mate, we're just stating that Carra could be a better captain than Stevie. |

QUOTE(ADVedder @ Jun 25 2011, 10:39 PM) suarez is good free kick taker dont you think? Tat means Liverpool will visit to Singapore for a special training session right after Malaysia game, but no friendlies will be played there.Added on June 25, 2011, 10:42 pmCharlie Adam currently at Melwood for medical LIVERPOOL are closing in on Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam as Raul Meireles faces an uncertain future at Anfield. Reds director of football Damien Comolli is expected to hold further talks with Seasiders chairman Karl Oyston this weekend as they attempt to thrash out a deal for the Scotland international. The 25-year-old is desperate to join Kenny Dalglish’s squad and Liverpool are hopeful an agreement will be reached. The Reds had a £8million bid for Adam rejected at the end of the January transfer window and it might take £10million to convince Blackpool to do business. Aston Villa and Manchester United are also in the hunt for Adam, who only has one year remaining on his contract at Bloomfield Road, but Liverpool remain favourites to secure his signature. While the Reds step up their pursuit of Adam, Meireles could be sold to boost Dalglish’s transfer kitty. Juventus have shown interest in the Portugal international, who cost £11.5million from Porto last summer. Meireles enjoyed a solid first season at Anfield with five goals in 41 appearances and was crowned PFA Fans’ Player of the Year. However, Dalglish has been looking to strengthen in midfield and Meireles could find himself on the fringes. The manager has already snapped up Jordan Henderson for £16million from Sunderland and Adam is likely to follow. Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing is also high on Dalglish’s list of targets, while skipper Steven Gerrard is coming back to fitness. Reports suggest Juventus are willing to offer Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo as part payment in any deal but that is unlikely to interest the Reds. If Liverpool agree to sell Meireles they will want cash and they will look to make a profit on what they paid for the 28-year-old. One Reds player no longer attracting attention from Juventus is Alberto Aquilani. The Italian midfielder spent last season on loan with the Serie A outfit but they have failed to reach an agreement with Liverpool over a permanent transfer. As it stands Aquilani will be returning for pre-season training at Melwood when Dalglish’s squad start back a week on Monday. “Aquilani is going back to Liverpool,” confirmed agent Franco Zavaglia. Meanwhile, Liverpool will briefly visit Singapore at the end of next month’s tour of the Far East. The Reds will arrive following the friendly in Malaysia on July 16 but they won’t be playing a game. Instead they will hold a special training session for invited supporters on July 17 before flying home. Visiting Singapore replaces the Korean leg of the tour. what does that mean? |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jun 30 2011, 01:31 AM) Why Diego Could Be The Player for Liverpool That Joe Cole Never Was http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football-spor...cole-never-was/ Good read~! QUOTE Raul Meireles, the one bright spark of the Hodgson era has shown good form since Dalglish has taken over, however he’s been repeatedly played on the left wing where his unique ability amongst Liverpool players to cross the ball can be properly utilised. LMFAO~ |

QUOTE(Monstar @ Jul 7 2011, 08:52 AM) I do not think we fund them as much as you would like to think. On average, I think a fan in Malaysia would buy less than 1 jersey a year. Them scousers take up loans just to watch the team play. Partly its because Mat Sallehs just do not believe in saving and partly also because they are so in love with the club that they are willing to get into debt over it. Not tat they Mat Sallehs do not believe in savings, they just don't need to. European countries' policy are just too good in helping those in bad economy state such as unemployment.Show them you could match their passion and they will respect you for it. |

Added on July 17, 2011, 2:51 am QUOTE(leaF @ Jul 16 2011, 11:55 PM) I bet you guys will miss out the 19 Banner put by the scum. They managed to put up that banner until 2nd half before I dont know where it is go .I am sitting on blue gate and we keep shouting "buka, buka" .The banner is on 3rd level near green gate. I saw the banner with GGMU banner beside it. The highlights for today - is watching Ngog run and creating chances for himself -watching Kuyt celebrate just in front of me with his trademark jumping and kissing the ring -Dirk Kuyt wave to the supporters when he in bus going back where many of the others didnt even give a damn to the supporters (probably too tired) -and the last YNWA!! goosebumps This post has been edited by LukeMjstc: Jul 17 2011, 02:51 AM |
