not to me, more like the harry dude are needling him because of the game btw holland and uruguay esp the one where holland triumph in the wc semis. besides, seems to me he's prolly focused on spending some time with his family before goin on to his national duty, and 3 goals for suarez just shows his desire n commitment a promising signing so far by both comolli and kenny. hope its a long career in the reds of liverpool

btw on other matters, i personally hope there wont be any vuvuzelas around in the stadium during the match against our national side, what do u guys think ?

Added on June 12, 2011, 9:46 pmits refreshing to see that kenny has targeted home grown players and both the owners and comolli share the same idea. as of now, i'm sure we are still gonna be busy with a backup keeper, a cb, a lb, a winger and a backup striker still to come imo. nothing solid so far tho it seems we are resigned to losing out to the mancs for phil jones and ashley young.

just done watching england u-21 euro hopes gone. followed all 3 matches in which henderson started in all 3. weird thing is he was passed the armband by mancienne in the first 2 matches but phil jones led the team in the 3rd. from what i saw, i think henderson is pretty ordinary. he was over-run by spain's midfield in the first match, didnt do much imo in the 2nd n 3rd match and rightly substituted in the final match. but credit to him that he tried, always wanting the ball to dictate the game from midfield. but the lack of killer passes and communication made him look very ordinary, n to pay 16mil for a 20 year old who only got the media's attention last season is certainly a gamble. lets hope he does btr and will mature to be a btr player when in melwood. i know its still early days in the transfer window but i hope 2 see a signing that would lifts the spirit of the team just like how suarez did. and guys, dont expect suarez to continue his hot form. it is always harder in the 2nd season, as opponents and defenders get to know u from the 1st season, they'll find ways to handle u. one example, torres who has really hot in his first season here in england.

btw what do u guys think of nzogbia ? with newcastle signing 3 midfielders already n also signing marveaux, theres a possibility that nzogbia is heading towards us.

yeah henderson do look more like a carrick kind of player to me too. well for glen, i read somewhere, his high price was because chelsea made a last min bid to try to get him back to the bridge. i really forgot where i read there, but im pretty sure its a reliable source back then. but thats old story. anyways we shall reserve our thoughts on henderson for now, till at least a full season, tho i expect him to be better than lucas in adapting as he's a local lad and has been playing in the bpl.

sounds like a good deal for me. with jonjo getting more playing team in the championship. and darby too. with the emergence of flanno and kelly, it would be good if darby is able to be a reliable cover in the near future. and yes, looks like kenny n commolli are looking for players who need not adapt to the premier league in view to bring us back to the top4. winning the league is out of the question, although miracle happens. but for now, our target is towards europe and CL.

now that kenny finally got HIS signing in adam, i think we'll look to add a few to our left flanks. i think adam is easily above the likes of meireles and henderson and aqua in the pecking order cuz kenny has been interested in him the min he took over ! im sure commolli is finding ways to offload players too. just at this moment, there are not many interested parties for the likes of jova, poulsen, cole, aqua, even ngog ! mainly due to their high WAGES. this is sad problem

where's the source on who's coming n who's not ? a friend of mine who works in the media also said about kenny not attending the match. this seriously sucks. that makes it a must for me to attend the training or at least hunt them down in airport !
