have u tried to run 2 hypptv at a same time?
by extension u mean is those extension electrical cable or switch to extend the ethernet?

hi guys, about this powerline thingy... we connect 1 side to via lan.. how about the receiving side? any connection to the tv?

you can split hpptv in case you have more than one STB as long the source port is VLAN ID 600.

Example DIR-615 port no. 4 <---> 4 ports switch <----> STB 1@port 1 and STB 2@port 2.you can watch simultaneously.but if you subscribed for premium channels,only your default STB can watch that channels.

correct,that 4 ports switch will not be able to share the internet,coz all are tagged with VLAN600

Sorry, this might be a noob question, but what is a 4 port switch and where can we buy it? or can I use my default d-link as a 4 port switch? I'm using Asus RT-N13 as my main router now.

4 port switch is just a normal network switches,yup u can use your dlink as normal switch.just disable the dhcp function on your dlink.

but you only can use port 1 to 3 only if you're using factory firmware.

Hi, are you confirm that now new Happytv stb come in build in wireless adaptor? because I just apply unifi last week but seem the stb are didn't have wireless.

Hi,I just call to customer service center to confirm, they said they is no wifi built in for STB right now.

Your STB got wifi antenna?

Can you send me your model number and photo of ur STB? I am gonna to complain them, as I just install unifi last weekend and my STB doens't have Wifi feature. Thanks a lot.
