if i dint service at proton service center, does it mean the warranty is void?

some quick question, when i do maintenance at 5000km at proton centre, after i done, the person told me that, come back here at 10000km and she gave me a price list around rm600, and i said why is it so expensive, and i told the girl if i go outside those normal shop, it would be cheaper. then the girl said that, once my proton car repair or change oil at some random shop other than proton service centre, the warranty will be void... is it true?
