Hmm, the first batch was well known with rust around the drive shaft, but reaching the stage where it detaches? First time I've heard of this.

changed one engine mount and gear box mount. Finally the vibration on my steering wheel has ceased. Costs of changing is as below, done by outside mechanic:-

year half only a.....       but what to do...the mounting nearly died on me. It hardened and drooped my engine so had to change. According to my mechanic, Proton's engine mount uses not-so-good quality rubber thats why and can last about 3-5yrs only. No offense ya for those that beg to differ
