actually no need to remove the plastic covers, because when u take off the original rubber, there will be a some space for the new door rubber to slot in.. but, u must cut a bit of the new rubber.. bcoz, its too thick n cannot slot in the plastic cover, about the pic, ill will try to take some sample pic, i will upload it later
