Just got my unifi installed and i'm outstation while letting my bro to handle it. He was asked to pay RM315 for the wiring thingy. Is that normal?

wow..unless he ask the contractor to lay very very long LAN cable inside the house else shouldn't charge so high.. doh.gif

RM 5 per meter is standard charge..

Nope, not extra cable being pulled. Just normal. I guess that's a rip off.

My WiFi is working perfectly with BlackBerry, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, HTC Desire, MacBook Air, Dell Inspiron and everything that uses WiFi connection.

Try this.
Open Internet Explorer, type 192.168.0.1 then input admin as username but don't write anything in the password then press Submit.
Then Advanced > Advanced Wireless > Change everything into exactly like in the picture.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

no one willing to help out on my STB IPTV stucked at INIT problem?

i just called the operator and they said they "refreshed" my line.. since i'm not at home now, go back home reset everything then only can test... but i doubt it's gonna work though...

is my only solution now is to lodge report then wait technician to replace? there's no unifi centre that i can go, like tmpoint... i cannot be at home all day waiting them la... totally sucks lo vmad.gif
