its cause they are testing n deploying their DPI, might cause some problems... |

QUOTE(klseet @ Jun 16 2011, 09:33 PM) [attachmentid=2277612] No more DIR-615 or anything in between, no need custom firmware, user definable vlan.xxx !! QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Jun 16 2011, 09:53 PM) QUOTE(klseet @ Jun 16 2011, 10:13 PM) cool... good work sharing it... guess the sales of this modem/router gonna go up up up up up and away QUOTE(aneip @ Jun 16 2011, 10:32 PM) Seeing the config GUI, seems the router also support multiple SSID and this SSID can be bridge to others interface. Can configure one of the SSID to bridge with vlan 600. Get another router (configure as client) connect to IPTV, so you can have IPTV through wireless connection. Maybe someone can try this out. yeah its possible you just need to trunk the vlan interface through the wifi interface and the other end bridge the interface from wifi to the ports so u can have both iptv and internet on the other end... |

QUOTE(nabielz @ Jun 27 2011, 02:47 AM) if mikrotik RB750GL vs asus RT-N56U,which is better mikrotik much more powerful , much more features and also not a little too friendly to configure.. i mean if we compare with features aspect, performance etc. what do u guys think need to know at least some networking terms and some higher then average common sense... the asus one is the normal high end consumer grade router with the standard or additional features... i'm using rb750 and it works well enough.. has scripting support and etc so i can do what i need to do if you want easy to configure get asus.. if you want tons of features but will use most likely 30% of it then get mikrotik... mikrotik is more of a SME based device.... |
