Hrmm... The wifi thingy TM give you is effective until what distance? One more thing is they'll give you a fixed line which enables us to make free call to all TM operators rite? Can we change it to our existing phone number? Its quite troublesome having to use a new phone number zz.. One more thing, is the phone line like old time jaring, you can't use the phone line while you're on the internet?

Same chip Ralink RT3052F SoC

TM-RND Router FCC ID: YB5-RGTMRNDGEN

TM's DIR-615 Gx FCC ID: KA2DIR615G1

Looking at those photos submitted to FCC really low quality, really no class at all doh.gif

Although the RG-TMRND board design & materials used slightly different and it seem to suggest the antenna gain of 3dBi, couple with "unknown" firmware creator, I personally have no high hope on this device ..... sweat.gif

Come-on TM, is this the only thing you can do? You guys seem never learn .... yawn.gif
I'm sure there are many manufacturers out there willing to produce better and more choices for consumers, rather than this unknown joker "TM" router.

It's really unnecessary to waste money by setting up RND trying to re-inventing the wheel, afterall router it's NOT TM's core business, and it can NEVER be, period. shakehead.gif

im thinking of applying for UNIFI soon. I would like some input from you guys, how will the TM technicians fix the line? is it similar to my current adsl copper wires running through my house? Meaning each room will have the fiber line. Also if i want to connect both my laptop and desktop (in seperate rooms) with ethernet, can i put a wall jack or do i need to use a seperate modem?
