No, because Jeebus Kira is the bestest Gundam pilot ever made by Sunrise. Even Amuro, Banagher and the great Master Asia cannot match with him.

I'm okay with gunpla anime. You can see many old gundam cameo-ing in the series like Beginning Gundam.

Some more, no more female character got killed, emo pilot, talk talk talk while fighting, b!tchslap, brightslap, gay character or superhuman pilot.

Unless, they make it dark and serious eventhough its just a gunpla simulator battle.
(Like YugiOh which is just a card battle theme anime and Air Gear which is also just a rollerskate anime)

Actually, they can make it ala Sword Art Online. Anyone who lost the battle or died in the fight will also die in the real world via brain fried or electric shock.

Its other people's opinion. You should follow your instinct and just watch it to justify yourself.

The boy reminds me of Cross Fight B-Daman that I currently watch in Disney XD.

I hope they can make it like other toy fighting anime, e.g. gunpla fight is serious business. Yu Gi-Oh manage to do that, but its because Dark Yugi and other ancient persona has a power to punish people who lost the battle.

Maybe that red haired boy is very special since he suddenly appear on top of the construction building out of nowhere and disapear like Batman like he is very mysterious being who exist only to compete in gunpla battle.

If a card game anime can has a dark ancient persona, and a bead shooting toy anime can have a dragon spirit resides in it, why not gunpla?

Its like watching an anime about people playing Gundam VS but using gunpla that they have build themselves.

Not to mention the explosion effect, the scared and sweaty face when the pilot/controller in the brink of getting their gunpla being anihilated or when they are in the pinch, and their screaming when the gunpla exploded.

It does give the aura of the real battle, since gunpla battle is treated as battle simulation by those who play it.

Ral = Mr Referee in Medabot/Medarot.

He will show up from no where when a match started.
