The only good thing I see coming out of this is that it will help spread the message on how to subvert the naive DNS censorship scheme. Where it was only porn and extremist sites before, the net is cast wider now to filesharing sites.
Then if the government censors something that it shouldn't, there'll be more people who can help their family/friends/neighbors subvert it. |
