I think the government has forgotten that it's the PEOPLE who will be voting them into power, not our dead entertainment industry. Just how many people bother to download our local shitty content? Ask the isp and I'm sure most of the dls are foreign content. That's why they don't bother to block jiwang.org which has more local content. How much local content is hosted on those 10 sites blocked? Barely any.

I love how this will portray Malaysia to the world, who wants to set up a company in a country that blocks internet access? Our government doesn't realise that most foreign company who sets up a branch here would need to communicate with their main branch overseas through the internet and this will just make people look elsewhere to set up branch instead. Way to go, BN. Let's dig a deeper hole for us to die in, why don't you?

Anyway, I still find it funny that they think they can censor the internet, most Malaysians who are savvy enough to learn to dl would know how to bypass any block. All they did is piss off the citizens so close to the election time. Exercise your vote people!
