Can you explain your reasoning?

As I see it, piracy helps the Malaysian economy. Malaysia doesn't produce very much IP, particularly entertainment. orders of magnitude more dollars leave the country to purchase foreign entertainment than stay here to fund local production.

If that money remained here it could be used for other domestically beneficial productive purposes.

It is every Malaysian's patriotic duty to pirate as much as possible.
