No way. I am sure when lots of people change DNS, they will think about something else. So this is temporary until they come up with something new and this method no longer works. When they do, there are only 3 ways left :

a) Proxy
b) Tor
c) Use VPN

Sadly no one is questioning MCMC move here.

The Star newspaper can even check those website and tries to contact the ISP to ask why they can still access the website.

Our country's media have their head so high up their a$$ they are probably seeing out of their throat. How can the media even support MCMC on this matter? Its a classic example of media access censorship.

even MCMC publish pirated content in their website! its funny!! bagai ketam ajar anak berjalan. i am really pist off with government? how can government block website as they wish? i will sue government if they block my web site. i think Malaysian government need SEO lawyer to consult before blocking such sites. imagine the webmaster waste a lot of time to optimize their sites and end of the day is being block because of users fault for uploading pirated content. anyway,

My router refuses to change DNS too so I changed it in Win instead. Not sure if it works but it worked for me.

You can easily check which DNS servers have blocked the sites via nslookup :

EDIT : If swapping the DNS is not working for you on a TM service (Streamyx/Unifi), it might just be due to DNS caching. Close your browser + make sure you're on OpenDNS/GoogleDNS + run 'ipconfig /flushdns'. Then try pinging one of the blocked sites and you should see the IP address for the domain next to the domain name. If DNS name resolution fails, try setting a static IP mapping in your C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc hosts file. Worst case scenario is they route blackhole the IP addresses for those websites, then you will need a HTTP/SOCKS/PHP proxy/SSH tunnel/VPN to reach them.

thanks bro, YOU'RE THE MAN!

using free proxy sometimes is dangerous. your data sent and received might be 'leaked'.

Win = Windows

Some people just prefer shortforms way too much.
