I can just imagine the tears of all the Unifi users who signed up just for downloading from these sites.

Seriously, you have to hand it to TMNet. They're a master troll. Promote the shit out of Unifi, then epicly block download sites.

China is not a "democratic" country and did not "guarantee" no censorship so they perfectly ok.

Or just use free VPN and get the torrent file then log out. You only need to download the kb sized file to get it to work anyway. Piratebay is just a search engine for torrents.

Heck, just use any free proxies to access said sites and download the .torrent files, you won't be transferring much (if any at all) personal info anyway tongue.gif

I don't support piracy though. But I frequently download songs before purchasing them as a method to audit (if I don't like them I'd be deleting them anyhow).

well this is suck why do have to be block how about other people using it for other reason like keepping such as personal file. It look like soon or later this country will be like china or north korea all information have to be filter or block if necessry it will be the new iron curtain of asia. And what next if there dont like you blog there will find you and keep you in cell block because of national security and become treat label as cyber terrorist.

why doesn't my VPN (LA,USA) work for TPB? It is still inaccessible despite using OpenVPN but my uTorrent is running well.

Because US have one of the most stringent copyright laws on the planet and I am sure the VPN provider don't want to be in hot soup with the authorities regarding stuff to do with TPB. So they block it.
