I don't understand why... cannot do anything? So serious? All those iPad users who don't JB have a useless tablet? What's so incredible about jailbreaking? I can understand JB iPad for background tasks, but iPad2 already has that right?

So.... what can a JB iPad1 do that my iPad2 cannot do? Aside from retinapad and the obvious no-need-to-talk-about?

apart from retinapad and the ability to install themes, i can survive surely without jb

i hope when ios5 come out something can be done about the retinapad problem

Well i want to use my ipad 2 for work... Thts mean to console equipment... App store does have apps for cisco console but not other equipment... I have other equipment also the cisco router so i might jb for enabling hyper terminal on my ipad after I purchase the cable that will cost me rm200++or i might attempt to rebuild the cable by myself but not for piracy.....

Make phone call, SMS using iPad.... And lots more that a iPad JB can do then ur ipad2 without JB

for iphone, i can't wait, or will not even upgrade to iOS5 until JB out, all due to biteSMS, haha

but for iPad, i won't be Jailbreaking it too, unless something really awesome come out. I can still live without retinapad, and although i really wish the making calls/sms part come true soon

it is about certain features not available to iOS..

for me, i hope jailbreak can let me tether the internet in case i need it cause streamyx is so unreliable at times..

plus i need to have the option to download apps without the 20MB restriction over 3G.. i understand ppl might burst their quota.. but at least give them an option/stern warning before allowing download. it's really annoying for games slightly over 20MB to find a WiFi to d/l.

Update 3: We've received notice that this version is actually a pre-release of the upcoming jailbreak that is not finished, not intended for public consumption, and apparently leaked by a beta tester. For this reason we're pulling the video embed because we wouldn't recommend using it -- especially given the final version is probably not far off.
