While I've only glanced at Backtrack, but the tools are not OS dependant. You can use those tools in any linux distro as long as you bother to install the dependencies

i think u can get those high signaling receiver and using their software aircrack-ng will do. I m new to backtrack 5 and it more exploring and networking concept..

i read somewhere on the internet that ALFA AWUS036NHR cannot use injection and monitor mode in backtrack 5r1.. is that true ?
