Older Blaupunk Head Unit like the ones in Gen2 & Pre-Facelife Persona doesn't come with Audio Input (ie. AUX in), the one same as normal earphone jack.
I'm planning to add the Jack but have a question because I haven't opened up the unit.
Anyone know what size connector i need to buy to match the pins plugs of the Unit sockets for "CD Changer"? I don't feel like carrying the whole unit to electric shop just to get the right size. Each pin should only cost 20-30cents.

There are 2 users there who modded it. I asked both of them regarding the pin size but they say they don't know... QUOTE(kyheng @ Jul 4 2011, 12:51 PM) Dig chinese cari, if not mistaken got a person DIY mod the Hu to support Aux in...

Usually they are using the 3.5mm input jack.... But then it will be your secondary concern... Primary concern for you is, getting the right wire to the right connection points...

I'm referring to the size of the pin needed to connect the wire to the CD Changer connectors. There are ready made connectors but those cost over a hundred while individual wire pins cost a few cents but i don't know the size unless i dismantle the HU and bring them to shop.
