i just bought a wii balance board from japan, and downloaded the wii fit u from my usa acc, no issues there
just need to get a fit meter thats all

I bought the Japanese Wii Fit U meter and managed to link the meter to my US/Canada Wii Fit U game though...

Yeah I plugged in a travel adapter, on that day I was updating the console's software via its update option and after around 3 - 4 hours around 2pm I heard the pop sound that usually happens during a short circuit, shortly after that I smell something burned inside the console and I could not turn on the console any more. I have been using the said adapter for over a year and don't have any problems with electricity supply until that day. I feel that I got a defective console because I think Nintendo's well known for their durability of their Gameboy video game handhelds and previous consoles and in this case it isn't and I feel disappointed that I can't get a repair service from Nintendo itself 

You can always send it back there but it might cost you?

1) Would like to know if the games (physical) require installations like most of the PS3 games do?

2) Can you backup game save datas via USB Flash Drives like the PS3?

Oh yeah, does setting the country of residence to Canada allow you to use US eShop Prepaid cards as well?  Or does Canada have their own eShop cards?

I need to try out how the gamepad feels first but I'm considering getting one of them.

Also, considering getting the Wii LAN Adapter but need to test out my wifi connection's stability to the Wii U as well first.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the Wii U Pro Controller too due to the long battery life.  As for the Wii Classic Controller Pro, the control mapping it's kinda similar to the Dualshock 3 which is why I'm considering that one as well.

How much do these accessories (official/original) usually cost?
