First of all, sorry to moderator if I posted this topic on a wrong section. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

As the topic said, I really like this zippo lighter, and this item can only be bought in the US online store.

The things that i've wondered are, Will zippo lighter can be brought into malaysia? will is pass the customs? will the item be charged for taxes?

Will it stuck at the customs or stuck at checking point?

You need to check with the online store.. some store will never sent to malaysia. If they can sent, then won't have any issue. Normally if only 1 item, customs won't detain your item and lighter is not fall in dangerous item.

The store said that they can send international. confirmed with email with them, they said they can deliver to malaysia.

So, zippo lighters will not be a problem for me to buy it? they will not block or anything?

the reason is, i'm afraid that, after payment, the item can't enter malaysia. and i can't get a refund..

Are you buying in bulk or just a couple?

I think can ask them to declare as gift with USPS (if they r using united states postal service), item write as Souvenier, and value put like 5 dollars. should pass customs.
but for bulk (more than 10) customs for sure open the box

I'm buying only for one piece.

I don't wanna do the gift thingy cause, i'd read one thread. they said, gift usually don't come with an invoice, that needed for future use as a reference. ( correct me if i'm wrong )
