Got any scratches or not? If no, then ask for the warranty from Apple.
Maybe cab get new replacement smile.gif

new replacement only valid within 2 weeks of purchase. other than that unless you bought apple care, you have to pay for the repairs

As long as it is within one year warranty, he is entitled to claim, normally Apple provide one to one exchange.
Just tell them you suddenly cannot open smile.gif

What kind of statement is this? The iPad and the iPad 2 has a ONE (1) YEAR international warranty. After the 1 year and if you have AppleCare then you can still get warranty.

If the iPad shows no cosmetic defect (dent/scratches) etc, he/she can go claim warranty if it's still under the ONE YEAR warranty.

if nothing happens then I dont know.
if itunes still able to detect it.

If u still have the receipt from the seller, should be able to claim.given it's not obvious that u dropped it and still within warranty:)

yap, from what i know no receipt is required.
the if only hairlines scratches like u said before.
just try claim for warranty.
if in the end they knew and reject to service it.
then just look for technician to service it smile.gif

Apart from claiming warranty, do you guys know any places which fix iPad/iPad 2 around PJ or KL?
