QUOTE(ic3joker @ Jun 15 2011, 11:53 PM) hi, great info from 1st page i have some questions on the steps. I) XXJVP XXJVP (2.3.4) is the latest and probably the best of all. For beginners, this is the best firmware to try. Procedure 1. Flash to EZBase 3.0 first EZBase 3.0 questions: so i need to flash to this ROM even though my SGS is rooted and running 2.2. regardless of wht kernel version or build number? 2. Download XXJVP http://www.multiupload.com/H8ZGD0NSE2 questions: still downloading 3. Download Odin and .pit files http://www.multiupload.com/51MTA5K1H7 questions: this download is done, but i don't see any .pit file? only got the odin V1.82 3. Flash it by odin. Use 512 pit file. |

QUOTE(ic3joker @ Jun 20 2011, 05:03 PM) you need root to get titanium backup. you can easily flash a kernel to root it and retore all your apps. unfortunately, you cant restore all your data that you backup in titanium backup when you on froyo or else you will get FC for those apps. so restore using titanium backup and select retore "apps only"not "apps+data" to prevent FC. thanks ic3joker, you are sooo helpful with the member here for chinese input go to market and install google pinyin IME flash a theme? ok, so can u pls englighten me what kernel to root? pls show me a link so i can follow? and what is FC?? and after i flash kernel to root my GB, if i want other theme.. i need to flash another thing? damn ... so noob of me. thanks yea |
