You mean in CM7 the camera not working?
*
CM7 has stock camera. I prefer Samsung Camera, got more settings and can mute/change sound.

I am trying out camera360 which is not bad but i hate the spash screen before entering camera mode.

CM7 stock camera is actually not bad, just i miss some of the feature i have on Samsung Camera.

yea. u might want to try SGS II's Camera apk. though some functions might not work
*
I think i tried that before on Latest Simply Honey 3.6.1. SGS2 camera is integrated into the rom.

it is faster than SGS1 camera. like what you said, some function doesnt work. blush.gif

a few advantage of fugumod, voodoo color, UV, battery saving, and the most important, speed. if you are new to cm7, play around with stock kernel first then only flash custom kernel. like that only you can notice the different. smile.gif
*
ok bro! will do that! rclxms.gif

now my battery left 42% since 8 hours from 95%. kind of fast. haha.. maybe coz it's so smooooth i keep playing it. Love my SGS sooo much now. no more microlag. If later fugumod can imcrease the speed more, i think i'll rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

The only thing I don't like about the keyboard is I can't set the duration of long press. Have to press and wait quite long for the 2ndary character to appear.

In CM7 gingerbread keyboard, there is this option. I usually set it to appear twice as fast as the normal length. This saves my time and keying in numbers in password is very fast. Sadly gingerbread keyboard don't have Chinese inpu=_=;;;

cm7 is easy.
1.flash to ezbase 2.0
2. copy latest nightly  http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=galaxysmtd into sd card
3. reboot into recovery and flash nightly.
4.done!
that could be easier for us, no need to teach all newbie again and they have no excuse telling us no guide on first page. tongue.gif
it is always better to backup everything. if u rooted use titanium backup, if not use appmonster to backup your apps.

i think is the kernel's problem. which kernel you on?

Same here.....very frustrated lah.........

so I flashed to Stock XXJVP and Speedmod kernel.....but everytime I reboot my phone, all my APN settings gone....sigh

now finally settled back on Criskelo V71 XXJVP......
CM7 is still smoother than Criskelo ROM....but Criskelo ROM works better, FM Radio, Video Recording etc...and battery life is better too.....but I missed CM7 smoothness..........unfortunately flashing CM7 everyday can be heart stopping.....
*
I tried flashing CM7 #29 this morning. No bootloop, but it erased all my data and apps.
I had to restored using cwm. haven't tried it 2nd times yet, got work.

Guess what? Flashing CM7#30 + Fugumod 77n over CM7#29 caused a bootloop.
Reflashed CM7#30 now, seems to boot normally....still booting....
--------------
ok. my phone boot OK. Lost gapps.
Attempt to flashed latest Gapps then Fugumod 81n.
--------------
Done. it's booting......
--------------
Everything working again.....Have to enter all google details though..... tongue.gif
