QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 13 2011, 10:23 AM) I think you have the cell standby problem just like mine. Should be ok after you recharge. i have already mentioned multiple times that to install "seepu" from market to see if your CPU is been holding by some background processes. Otherwise, you will never know whether there is anything running at background. Usually when a newly flashed rom will take sometime for media indexing and this will depend on how much photos/files you have in internal and external storage. sometimes it will "jam" while indexing and hence CPU will be running at high level for long hour. That explains why your battery drains. So far i have not encounter any battery drain issue by android OS and etc on XXJVP with speedmod T8

I have already taken out the battery...went back into download mode...but this time I flash EZBase 2.0, then Speedmod kernel 13c to get CWM. Now using my ROM Manager premium and downloading CM Nightlies #26.....hope everything works...fingers crossed

QUOTE(nokiaXP @ Jun 13 2011, 05:45 PM) how about doing the conversion to ext4?any advantage?how to do lagfix convert from rfs to ext4 = lagfixed = speed up your phone. The "lag" might not be really noticeable most of the time. Basically, operations on your phone hang/freeze for a moment while executing. It can be apparent when doing something like switching screens, opening/closing apps, using the soft buttons at the bottom of the phone. Sometimes, apps don't work very well because of the lag. A good example of this is the facbook app. For me, before the lag-fix, it took a LONG time to populate photos in facebook. After the lag fix, it's pretty close to instant. The lag is due to the phone using Samsungs own file-system (rfs). The lag fixes create a (faster) ext4 partition. The system files are then moved to this partition which then increases the phones read/write speed. you may not really even notice the lag right now. But, once you've used the phone with a lag-fix applied and go back to the stock phone, you will definitely notice the lag.
