I once try to root my friend's DHD but then stopped when I realized that I should have deep knowledge with Linux or Android to do that. I don't even know what is ADB or how to use it, and I don't ever plan to use it. CWM is easier and safest than that IMO.
after few hours, I told him to leave his phone unrooted.

seriously man, HTC phones work wonderfully out-of-the-box but, when it comes to hacking/modding/tweaking you have be like extra geeky.

i have something to ask. i'm currently uploading my songs using Music Manager (PC software). but then when I launch Music (on my SGS), it seems all songs are available. i'm guessing that's my mp3 files in my internal sd. how do I exclude that mp3 in my sd? I want my uploaded songs only to appear in Music app. you know bro?

yes, i've tried it.

well, OP said that we shouldn't use CWM package. but, I take the risk and flash it in CWM recovery. so far, so good! sometimes my videos doesn't align correctly. the other party's video appear just fine. i don't know why.
P/S: you should enable you auto-rotate before launching YM app.

or create .nomedia inside my song folder. or ultimately, delete that folder from my sd card. LOL

hey bro. if you have similar setup like me:
1. stock jvp
2. dark core 2.7.3
3. ext4 filesystem

select moderate. DON'T select LOST, my phone locked up after using that for a while.
"moderate" setting won't give you headache. if you choose higher than that, your apps will be killed almost instantly everytime you minimize it.

Dolphin Browser HD is my favourite browser, again.
because Opera Mobile cannot show facebook site properly. try clicking any image uploaded by ur frens, that image wouldn't load. only cross sign appear at the top left of the browser.
P/S: i'm using Opera Mobile with desktop useragent mod.

loading speed and smoothness are what I have to sacrifice to get a working desktop-like browser.

you got me wrong dude. from my experience, page loading in Opera Mobile is quicker than Dolphin. but, problem is OM doesn't show facebook site correctly. and not to forget, I can't change useragent easily. have to enter the useragent value manually.

Dolphin on the other hand, is slower when loading page, but can easily change useragent. on top of that, addon+theme are its strength.

btw, I need to ask. where do Malaysians buy Ipad 2? from Apple online store or from machines? I'm thinking of buying one when I return back on my summer holiday. I'm in Egypt right now. Egypt sucks big time! you won't find any gadget that is priced like in Malaysia. Ipad 2 16gb wifi is sold here for about RM2500 without accessories. that's not cool at all.
and don't poison me to buy 3G version, coz I don't need 3G. i have my lil 'ol SGS to provide internet to that tablet.

P/S: other stupid thing people do with a tablet is snap a picture. if it 5MP I think ok lar. but if Ipad 2 with 0.7MP camera, it's super lame! LOL I won't snap picture using my Ipad 2, like ever!

don't increase voltage! this is not pc, dude.
you should decrease voltage (UV) if you can. if not stable, then leave stock voltage unchanged. if still not stable, don't OC.
