your processor is the culprit. get a quad core and it should run fine.

QUOTE(JuzJoe @ Jun 7 2011, 12:24 PM) COD needs quad core?! o.O LMAO Yes, surprisingly. I don't know why. My previous laptop with core 2 duo can run Cod4, Cod5, MW2 perfectly. But when I tried to run Black Ops, it lags like hell. I'm getting 20FPS in NukeTown map, even on the lowest resolution and lowest settings. Even after applying the Steam update, yes, mine is legit. Most of the games these days need quad core processors, I seriously don't know why.

Then I call that unoptimized, I don't believe that a game like COD using a prehistoric engine needs a quad core to run.
