hi, i am planning to get the g400 until i watched a yt video on his review. It seems it has minor prediction on it and it cant be turn off. My question is does prediction really affect ur gameplay? i do not play much fps, mostly LOL and rpg style gaming. fps is only for socializing. or should i get the DA instead?

thanks, just that i kinda like how g400 looks better than DA. It also seems like g400 is bigger than DA +1 for me.

thx dan~ and this is wat i found in the other forum to support ur statement QUOTE Originally Posted by Skylit Crockodile is right, although I still think the Kinzu has a tad too much
I really need to change the sticky tbh. The whole angle snapping debate is really confusing once you have a grasp on how sensors work.
I'll just say this...
All sensors have inherent amounts of angle snapping/prediction/correction/drift control or w/e you wanna call it. A mouse like the G400 has a tad more than a mouse like the Deathadder or 3.0/1.1/WMO which were programed with low amounts. Is it a con? Not really as some people can play perfectly fine and do extremely well with prediction, while if you started off or switched to a prediction free mouse, it feels really weird.
I think it's just an over exaggerated preference factor at this point. I mean, If you were gaming during the mid 2000s and weren't using an Intellimouse or WMO, you've most likely played with "correction" or w/e you wanna call it lol
In a sense, the sensors w/ low prediction are the "flawed sensors". The original Agilent sensors all had a moderate amount. i will wait a tad longer before deciding~

auto correction or prediction wont affect you if you use below 3k dpi~ tested it for 2 months. at 1.8k dpi there isnt a slight of prediction in it but when i use it at 3.6k dpi sometimes there will be some
