hi, i am planning to get the g400 until i watched a yt video on his review. It seems it has minor prediction on it and it cant be turn off. My question is does prediction really affect ur gameplay? i do not play much fps, mostly LOL and rpg style gaming. fps is only for socializing. or should i get the DA instead?

If FPS isn't your main course then any gaming mouse would suffice. Mouse prediction does affect FPS games and it's kinda crucial especially when you play as a sniper.

I've used steelseries kinzu and unfortunately, it has prediction. Now i'm using razer abyssus which has no drift control ( no prediction ) and imho it was a better mouse for FPS.

so if i use that mouse to ply sc2, no problem right? can prediction really mess up ur sniper experience? cuz i also ply cod n sudden attack. if it does, would it be better that i go for mx518?
*
For SC2 mx518 is more than enough, good performance/price ratio. Some people actually like mouse prediction on their FPS games but i find it annoying ,it just messes up my headshots.

If u mainly play FPS and IS a sniper user, like the TRG in SA, then i would recommend getting a mouse with no prediction. Anyway you have to take your grip style into account b4 buying.

Plus, mx518 has a polling rate of 125hz only , which is 8ms response time. It's better to get a mouse with 1000hz polling rate for instant feedback , which is 1ms response time. Great for FPS.

So if u play alot of COD and SA, then maybe u can have a look at razer abyssus or the famous Razer Deathadder .

Look at this.

Basically less drag on the mouse's wires.

Have one at home and another at work.

Hmmm. Worth considering. Sometimes those drags just get in the way too much too often.
