I think it's just a matter of personal preference. Some people prefer hard mats and some people prefer cloth mats. Personally I like cloth mats because of the smooth feel when your mouse glides across it.

QUOTE(vince86 @ Oct 22 2011, 11:23 PM) Hi guys, Been reading the thread and also been to low yat to try the diff mice. Can give me some recommendations? Am a palm grip user and looking for large mouse for my large hand. Have this few models in mind but cant find a sample to test to see the comfort level... G700 DA: Dragon Age edition (I like this because it looks good, but it's wired) Imperator 4G (any review on this? cant get to test it too..) My main requirement is to find a wirelsss mouse, and it seems only G700 and Imperator fit into it. But how is Imperator's performance? I strongly urge you to consider the DA, it's a really good mouse. The design is suited for people with large hands using palm grip.

People with smaller hands usually prefer mice designed for claw group user, such as the SS Xai or Razer Diamondback. I too have extremely small hands but I use a Razer Deathadder with a claw group ROFL. At the end of the day it still comes down to which one you think is most comfortable, and that's subjective to everyone. Try to get your hands on demo products and get hands-on experience to see which one you like the most ^^

QUOTE(rurushu @ Oct 26 2011, 09:39 PM) Im also a claw grip user. Wanna ask when you use your Xai/ Death Adder, do you use the side button? How you hold the mouse to use the side button? Do you change your grip to palm in order to use it? because my claw grip is very very significant, and when i tried to use the side button in claw mode, i would lose grip of the mouse and it will sort of "drift" away.... +1 on the textured plastic! Good for my sweaty hands Well, many complains that the weight is a bit heft, but for me, i like heavy mice, because light mice feels.... a bit "empty" to me, doesnt feel like holding a mouse if it's too light... I'm a claw grip user using the DA we all, i just blind them to special grenades and tactical assist for Black Ops multiplayer ^^

IMO the best ~RM100 mouse would be the Razer Krait, but it's so hard to find it in stores these days =/

QUOTE(sosot000 @ Nov 12 2011, 02:42 AM) well currrently thr is a promotion for lunar white and guild war edition of DA.. still thinking which one to get... I too support going for the Deathadder, whether or not going for the standard or the black edition is completely up to you. In my past 4-5 years I've used 2 Deathadders, that's it, nothing else. I've tried SS Xai and Kinzu, neither of them comes close to the comfort offered by the DA. You won't go wrong picking da
