According to bluerhinoit, the price of G400 is even lower than MX518? Interesting

A replacement product that is even cheaper than the previous model makes me wonder that where did they cut cost from? Yet this is their best selling entry gaming mouse, or even the best for that price range in the market, the only logical thing to do is to further increase the price or at least maintain it, more so when you have a few hardware improvements inside.
Maybe the simple design or change in mouse surface material? |

QUOTE(renishi @ Jul 22 2011, 08:37 PM) hi, i am planning to get the g400 until i watched a yt video on his review. It seems it has minor prediction on it and it cant be turn off. My question is does prediction really affect ur gameplay? i do not play much fps, mostly LOL and rpg style gaming. fps is only for socializing. or should i get the DA instead? If you don't play FPS much I doubt there'll be a major problem for you... FPS is the only game where pixel accuracy is that important. However, DeathAdder is still a very good mouse and if you can afford it, definitely go for it. |

I bet most of the companies out there will take that long since they send it back to their company respective countries...
My Ikari too, is on it's 5th week of RMA, called PI and they'd just give you those official answers you're expecting - already informed Steelseries but no reply |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Oct 30 2011, 12:12 PM) Some company does send back to their respective country for warranty purpose because the product manufactured from that specific Manufacturer.(Assuming the Product is quite old and not qualify for 1 to 1 exchange, which needs to be send back to their Manufacturer for repair.) Yes, I called PI and before I ended the call I asked them where's my mouse now and they say it's oversea...Plus, JustForFun said this I assume it PI is "Play Interactive" which is our local Malaysia Distributor for Steelseries. And what you said which i think does not explain the situation, but making it more confusing. Since JustForFun currently facing delay from Distributor, not Shop. Althou i have to agree with some Dealer tends to be lazy. but we consumers too needs to have awareness of the whole situation, such as contacting dealer and distributor sides for warranty information without both sides delaying each others, plus to see who's lying/lazy. Edit: Unless I have been trolled of course This post has been edited by JustForFun: Oct 30 2011, 10:08 PM |

Isn't the Kinzu plagued with negative acceleration problem? True that it is a lot of price reduced but pitting it against the G400 at the same price level I couldn't find any reason not to go for the G400 instead.
