please recommend me a mouse that i prefer..

light weight,normal dpi is enuff,thin wired,comfort design,right handed.,not too small.

I had think bout G500 but no sellers provides anymore at my area  cry.gif

budget around RM150
*
I also need some recommendations.
Similarly, lightweight, normal dpi, wired, comfort, right-handed and not too small.
But I would really like a on-the-fly DPI button and my budget is around RM250. oh yeah, and I have a sort of palm grip.

How to say normal DPI ?? like 1600-3200 or 5k++ dpi ??

Razer Imperator, SS Xai would be not bad =D .. I think Razer DA or else DA BE also not bad ..
*
I've been contemplating about getting the DA but there's no on-the-fly DPI button. I have to change one of the buttons for DPI switching and there's also no indicator of which DPI I've chosen. SS Xai may be a little too bland for me. Too accurate and normal looking. Lol.

QUOTE(rurushu @ Oct 10 2011, 03:31 PM)
SS Ikari? Death Adder BE? G700? G500? Mionix Naos 5000?
*
You have any idea where to get the Mionix Naos 5000? That mouse is very nice.

Normal DPI as in 3500 cukup. Don't need super high DPI as I'm more of a mid-range sensitivity user.

I think modernopc allows you to test.... never been to the shop yet, but seems members here do go there.... can wait their comment... laugh.gif
*
i am also curious about this. If Moderno allows me to test some mice before I make my purchase, that will be awesome.

Yeah, they added a dummy Naga, Imperator and Abyssus in addition to the DeathAdder for the Razer collection. The ROCCAT mice have been there for sometime already.
*
Thats good. I would like to try those mice out before I buy. But as you said, no steelseries to try out?

Because I lepak there quite often, and I have a Kinzu and Sensei with me most of the times. So if I'm there, can test them out. laugh.gif
*
You bring your Kinzu and Sensei with you around? rclxms.gif

If i can't test the mice, at least I can get a feel of it from outside the box la.

Edit:

Has anyone here made a comparison between the mamba and the sensei?

what you need to know about the mamba and sensei?
*
Comparison for build quality/software.
Both of them nearly the same price. I did read that the mamba's battery runs out pretty fast so I'm leaning towards the Sensei. Of course I will try out the other mice such as DA and pick the best one.

Mamba:
Philips twin eye sensor (bad reputation for the +- acceleration issue, hardware issue, cannot be corrected via software)
Battery is specifically by Razer and cannot be replaced with other normal batteries in case ran out of juice
bling bling
Shape is like a Death Adder with 2 additional buttons on the left-click button
build quality is typical Razer mouse

Sensei
Sensor is the same Avago ADNS-9500 laser as Xai and G700 (generally known as the more stable sensor around)
Last time when first released, have suffered some driver issues, but now seems solved.
Shape is like Xai, Diablo Xai
have bling bling like Razer
the top coating is plastic with metallic coating, from some users here, the top coat is easily scratched off, so care is needed when "handling" the mouse  laugh.gif
build quality is typical Steelseries, but i think at least would be slightly if not better than Razer's....

the remaining are yours to decide.... nod.gif  nod.gif

thanks a lot man!
hmmm... the sensei at RM50 less looks like the better deal here...

QUOTE(antonio @ Oct 17 2011, 04:53 PM)
Both mamba n sensei has a slight average built quality to it... You want to feel quality, just pickup any logitech gaming mouse or their premium line of mouse...

The mamba issue:
The dock connector if ur unlucky will have alingment issue with the cable that connects to it. Battery life is also short and battery replacement is no where to be found...

The Sensei issue, well apart from the peeling of the coating, usually those braided cable tends to get hairy overtime...

Both clicks feels good and the weight of the mamba is slightly heavier than the sensei, which some of you might dislike or not comfortable with...
*
QUOTE(rurushu @ Oct 17 2011, 09:55 PM)
+1 on the logitech mice, they are virtually indestructible...

the battery replacement if not mistaken, is razerzone.com exclusive....

the braided cable tends to get hairy overtime due to friction on your table surfaces.... which i think is somewhat common, unless the braid is very well woven....
*
So you guys are saying that Logitech has better build quality than both razer and steelseries?

I've crossed out the Mamba due to its sensor issues.

Besides that, anyone have any info on the SteelSeries Kana?

The steelseries Kana so far still N/A... dunno what SS is doing... Sigh.... hope faster release details.... hope the top coating is not the rubber again... >.<
*
why no rubber? because it peels off?

i read somewhere that they're gonna have 2 finishes. matte rubber and shiny plastic. Some dutch website even posted pictures of it but somehow it doesn't look too authentic.

Yeah, overclock.net the Kana discussion thread confirmed that there would be 2 finnish, one is the glossy and the other is the matte rubber....
Me dislike rubber due to personal preferences, because i dont really like the "rubbery" feeling when i hold the mouse, plus i sweat alot.... sweaty little hands... sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
Isn't the matte rubber finish better for sweaty hands?

oh ok ok..
I read around that the rubber material tends to peel off as you said.
I'm aiming for a sensei or deathadder (after i try holding them both) and since they are of different material, i hope either one of them will do it for me. biggrin.gif
