Love the 4 thumb buttons for the ability to macro biggrin.gif. Can just set the actions, sweet!

Now question is that I'm using a hard mat, Roccat Sota... wonder how fast the feet will get eaten? Can the replacement bought in Msia easily?

this is very weird stuff im tellin you guys.

i was a fan of razer and i bought an abysssus and an imperator.

okay i use em both on razer vespula which is a hardmat .

surprisingly their glide got eaten in a very short period.

now im using G700 on it , for around a month already , it shows no sign that its glide is being brushed off.

so..i believe razer`s glide is....sucky? lol

the last hard mat i used was exactmat a long time ago...
my diamondbacks and copperheads lasted quite long on them...my exactmat speed sides lasted about 5 months tho...the control sides about 8 months...went thru 3 exactmats in that time...but the mouse feets were still ok.

Hmm, let's see how well my G700 hold off against the Roccat Sota's surface. Might change to cloth type in future, but I like the Sota's surface xD My Kone used for 6 month, feet looks and feels ok...

i never like cloth type surface , they arent really helpful....i admit hardmats are darn good and slippery while cloth mats...nothing special about it...even a rm10 mousepad can be better sometimes.

thats a myth, didnt take me long to convert from hardmat to cloth.

if u say rm10 mousepad can be better, there are probably 10 other ppl in the world who say their table is better than a hard mat tongue.gif

I think it's just a matter of personal preference. Some people prefer hard mats and some people prefer cloth mats. Personally I like cloth mats because of the smooth feel when your mouse glides across it.

I am a cloth mat user before using Sota (hard mat), got to admit I somehow prefer soft mat because it is more comfy for my hands tongue.gif. But tracking purpose the hard mat seems better, or maybe because I wasn't using a good cloth mat before this. Gonna try out Razer Goliathus soon.

I feel mousepad do make a difference.. At least, my goliathus did.. You may say it's psychology, but even my friends who are not fan of mousepad or anything can feel the difference between my mousepad and normal mouse..
Nv use b4 hard mousemat before though
