People with smaller hands usually prefer mice designed for claw group user, such as the SS Xai or Razer Diamondback. I too have extremely small hands but I use a Razer Deathadder with a claw group ROFL. At the end of the day it still comes down to which one you think is most comfortable, and that's subjective to everyone. Try to get your hands on demo products and get hands-on experience to see which one you like the most ^^

Just got my hand on Sidewinder X8, yes it is an old mouse and not even on par with most of the mouse stated here. For me, it's a good wireless mouse and the charge indicator is very helpful whenever the battery almost dead and the charging `puck' look somewhat cool to pair it with my Sidewinder X6 side-by-side

I always a fan of Sidewinder and sadly it's no more in production

nah, they still sux at writing drivers...but its a diff sensor.
basically the spawn is using the 'public' version of the sensor thats in the DA 3.5g...and its only around RM130.

hmm..depends on how consumer thinks..
if consumer likes well known branded gear..they wouldnt mind forking out xtra cash so they wouldnt have to change mice frequently
but for those who are realy tight in budget then yes rm40 is consider a lot

Who says SideWinder X8 is not on par with most mice stated here? Do not judge a mouse's quality/functionality based on dpi alone, or looks or age (since you say it's an old mouse)
I personally think any mice with dpi above 4000dpi are kind of useless, unless you have multiple displays, though i doubt you will use at that high dpi even if you do have

And since it's no more in production, it's value increases

PS: Wanna ask something that questioned me for a long time... Im a claw grip user and since i already used my thumb to grip the mouse, the side buttons would be useless, no? Because i tried to use the side button, but whenever i wanted to do so, i will have to palm to use it, because when i try use the side button when clawing, i would lost grip of the mouse and it starts to drift away....
