Just a quick question here... do you guys keep getting auto-locked for 'unusual access patterns' when using streamyx? I usually get 175.1xx and the system keeps locking me out and i have to reset the password like at least once or twice a week. This is really annoying.

This is really annoying. i did have it once, i write to blue and explain, i couldn't sleep(on usual time) for a few weeks and play at very late night time. and they unlock my account the next day(or two) maybe patterns doesn't mean streamyx, maybe it means you login on very unsual time(the pattern doesn't fit your usual playtime pattern)

i got locked up once, due to IP change I guess.
Using tunneling service. changed pw then ok d..
n the next day, i dont simply tunnel and login. Close client, do a restart, then turn tunnel on, then login. No problem so far.
I think the system will lock you if you suddenly change the IP and relog. (to prevent hackers and unwanted IPs I guess)

Getting Started

|
QUOTE Greetings,
Thank you for your follow up e-mail. I understand that battle.net has been locking your account when changing location or accessing from a different IP. This is the intended functionality of battle.net to prevent possible exploitation or compromise of accounts, however, we realize this can sometimes negatively affect accounts of players who travel often or use lower ping/tunneling/proxy services.
Unfortunately there is no way for us to set up an account to access from the number of IPs used by such services as they change nearly every time they are used to allow for the best connection. Fortunately to unlock an account after this type of action all you need to do is change your password. If this does continue to be a problem though, I would recommend checking our Tech Support forums for possible workarounds or alternative options to reduce latency or lower ping.
Please feel free to write back to us if you have any additional questions or concerns, as we would be more than happy to assist you. Thank you again for your feedback! This what they've replied my mail regarding locked account issued.
