I'm considering to buy a 3DS. Never have been a nintendo owner, in fact, never been a handheld gaming device owner. but the nature of my work to send me to places with no internet connection has made me interested in this.

1. could you guys enlighten me on what I should be considering before buying?
2. whats the R4 and Acekard?? was walking around lowyat and they were telling me about the r4
3. and what about the region lock? games usually sold here (LYN) is J or EU/US? (relates to question 2)
4. lastly, how much would it cost? so I won't get ripped off

1. depend wat game u plan to play... the game available for 3DS n PSP,which 1 u prefer more... at the moment not many 3DS game,so u have more time to consider... E3 is coming soon n expect more 3DS game to b annouce...
2. sry,cant answer this since it not allow here...
3. region lock is something nintendo applied... as long as ur 3DS is asia/us (english ver) copy,u can play the us region game... as for lyn sale,u have to check with them personally since some of them might b using jp ver...
4. Kyo selling it as RM910 M'sia set without any game...
