I heard it is better to exchange currency in Japan rather in Malaysia, no idea if it is true or not. If not ,where is the best place to exchange in KL?

Thanks for the input given, here is another thing, i have this maybank visa debit card, can i use it there ? Coz i have used that card for most online shopping ..It would b very convenient if it can b used there xD.thanks again !
