05/05/2012- (What transport should i use?) Check-in Shin Osaka Hotel
06/05/2012- (What day pass should i buy?) Playing around at osaka & shin
07/05/2012- (What day pass should i buy?) Check-out Shin Osaka hotel, travel to kyoto
08/05/2012- (What day pass should i buy?) Kyoto
09/05/2012- (What day pass should i buy?) Kyoto & Nara
10/05/2012- (What transport should i use?) Check-out Kyoto hotel, travel to kobe
11/05/2012- (Should i buy day pass?) Kobe and night time travel to kansai airport
11/05/2012- 11.15pm(12.15pm Japan Time) Back to Malaysia

Hope someone can help me with the transportation advise.

1)Airport - JR Haruka limited express train(tokkyu) towards Tennoji Station (Osaka)[2 stop]<1800 yen> - Walk to Hotel
2)Airport - JR's rapid trains (kaisoku) towards Tennoji Station (Osaka)<1030 yen> - Walk to Hotel
2)Airport - take Nankai Airport Express trains rapid <1400 Yen> - walk to Namba Station (Osaka)- Midosuji to Nishinakajima south station (Osaka)[6stop] - Walk to Hotel (1620 Yen)
Just not sure which one is ok

Just buy one JR West [[Kansai Pass 4 Day Pass. 6000 Yen]]. [[3 Day Pass 5000 Yen]] [[2 Day Pass 4000 Yen]] [[1 Day Pass 2000 Yen.]]

It cover Everything you list out there.

It you really works on it...you should know Kansai Rail Pass is exited

so cheap...coz i tot is expensive coz i saw from official JR website it cost USD342 for 7 day trip..
That mean i should buy 4 day 6000Yen + 2 day 4000 Yen lo correct?

RM1k Plus is JR Rail Pass...this one Cover whole Japan.

Kansai Rail Pass just Cover Kobe , Osaka , Kyoto.

but is a waste for the first day when i arrive at kansai , it already night so what for i purchase JR pass i buy normal JR's rapid trains (kaisoku) towards Tennoji Station.

Kansai Airport very big......finding it without doing homework will waste few hour....then you have less few hour to spent in Japan.

Depent on you....... You want extra waste another few thousand yen....BTW if you don't want to buy Kansai Pass at Kansia Airport....You have to find on Kansai area big train station only.

I don get it by waste few thousand yen..
because i already purchase my kansai 4 day pass for my day two to day five trip.
If i using my 4 days pass at the first day where i arrive at Kansai is totally not worth it .
Because i arrive there at 10.30pm so with train to hotel already 11.30pm (Something like that) then left 1/2 and hour for the day one pass.. (If the pass is count as the time when you purchase)
Do you think is worth it???
That is the reason i purchase normal JR's rapid trains (kaisoku) ticket towards Tennoji Station.
Correct me if i am wrong..

1) Osaka Unlimited 2 days Pass
2) Kansai Thru pass

why am i asking is because i plan to buy one of the pass first before hand in the airport and use it few days later. no need to run to other main station to buy again since i will be in airport to buy all one shot if can

Osaka Unlimited pass was like ticket unlimited used for visiting Osaka landmarks and Osaka Transport. While Kansai Thru Pass are for handle all Transportation from Kobe to Osaka to Kyoto.


Good to have this both.

But....If Air Asia arrive Kansai at Night around 11:00. The Counter for getting these pass already closed.

You can't get it at Kansai Airport. Next places to get are Osaka major Train Station

btw, my question is: can i buy earlier at the airport and use it few days later? why i am asking is because i wanan know whether the activation starts once i purchase the pass from counter or the activation starts once i made my first entry?

Once you buy the Date start Activation.

If was count by Date...no you entre the Gate.

btw just note kansai thru pass does not cover buses in kyoto ya.

and from what i understand travelling in kyoto mostly in bus (?)

Exploring Kansai Most important are 2 card

JR West Rail Pass and Kansai Thru Pass

JR West pass for JR line & Kansai Thru Pass for Buses , Private Line , etc etc.

With this 2 pass. Exploring Kobe , Osaka , Kyoto are same important as your passport.
