So, any confirmed forumer that wll go to Japan during spring/hanami season?

i will go 31/3 this year. 10 days....

i'm in japan from 22/3 (osaka) - 2/4 (tokyo)

Where you will be? Tokyo? I was thinking to travel at around same time. Not yet buy fly ticket.


Cool. Anyway the gathering is on or not? Can someone create a list of people that want hanami gathering at parks like ueno/shinjuku as suggested.

go to bar and meet new people, its winter go snowboarding or skiing, go clubs and events, check out timeout.jp and find out yourself what's interesting and happening around town
japan has more things offered compared to malaysia.. if you're still bored then i have no doubt that you're a boring person

no its not difficult. just buy your ticket and apply your visa. check out japan embassy website in malaysia for more information on requirements and necessary documents

I hope you have been successful with your job search and are all settled down in Tokyo.
My family goes back 2x a year but I malas nak ikut. Japan very stressful place - too many unwritten rules.

Besides summer in Tokyo hot giler sial (or raining) and winter (while not really super cold relative to north) in old house with no insulation is madness.
On the other hand, the recent yen-yasu is much welcome.
