You can turn your bricked or semi-bricked into the download mode with the micro USB jig.
It means that you can use “ODIN” to flash your Galaxy S.

"How To" Steps: HOW TO GUIDE!

1. Turn off your phone and pull out the battery.
2. Leave it for about 10 seconds.
2. Put the battery back. (Don’t turn it on.)
3. Plug the jig into the micro USB port on the phone.
4. Wait for a second or two. You will see the yellow download mode logo appear on your screen.
5. Unplug the jig.
6. Connect your phone with USB cable to computer and continue flashing your phone with "ODIN".

Good news for Samsung Galaxy S 2 owners. It will ....
a. Reset your flash counter
b. Remove the yellow triangle
