I just walked in one of the Maybank branch in Penang, apperantly, they didn't request for my payslip, just my other bank's cc (I dont hv Maybank CC, but with Maybank saving ac). My Maybankard 2 is now in progress, will update again if the application is successful.

I did call the CS on day 3, application not received, on day 5 (today), i called again, application is in process. Just hope it will not go into step 4 (ii). haha... i know cant compare branch with 1U card center..

Update: my 2cards info (showing last 4 digits) was updated at Maybank2U. Hope I can get the real cards soon. So, I guess if you are maybank customers (CC, saving, current, FD, etc), they will not request for your payslips. Just my thought... smile.gif

oh, in my case, my salary is banked into Maybank. I think that was the reason that they dint ask for my payslips. (in fact I prepared all the docs, payslips, bank statements etc [kia su], end up they want my card from other bank only)

After 2 weeks long, finally i got my MBB2 card. rclxms.gif The cards will expire in 2016 and the CL is highest among my other cards (Citi and SCB), around 4x my current salary. Strange...

By the way, anyone try the amex to redeem starbuck 1 for 1 at 1st avenue, PG? thanks..

Just give it a try ba.. should be no problem if 30k is only ur total monthly basic, surely you have bonus, allowances, etc..

Between, anyone join the Audit A5 contest? Sadly only for master card.. Register thru sms to get double entries. Just done mine.

Just used the Amex at Canton-I this afternoon, and purchased 4 starbucks (2 swipes)with the price of two at queensbay mall.. not bad...

At Startbucks opposite KFC. I asked the barista before i placed my order. My friend also tried Straits Quay & Auto-city, no problem.

And the Rm50 charge to master/visa will only come after few months while amex at the 1st month (my case). Question: how to use treatpoints to setoff the GST? just call cs?
