QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jun 5 2011, 11:24 AM) The self adhesive transparent stickers used by the banks to cover the specimen signatures is of good plastic quality and super strong adhesive material. The reasons I stick on the signature are: 1) The signature and the unwritten space on the back of the CC would be permanently sealed and protected to prevent any attempt of tempering. 2) The self adhesive material is so strong that any attempt to remove the transparent sticker will damage the signature. To hide the cvc, I use a type of writeable matted surface cellophane tape (which is easily available at stationery shop) for ease of marking with any pen type and replacement. Thank you for the tips..... I will do that for my CC. Beside i will use the soft sticker ( normally the sticker stick on mobile phone screw edge to prevent it from tempering. If tempered, the phone warranty will be void). Will get some of this sticker from my friend hahahahaha..... Added on June 5, 2011, 11:57 amQUOTE(David83 @ Jun 5 2011, 11:55 AM) No such thing! A total crap! that is the problem. My CIMB i did not put my full name on card. Beside, if i go to replace a card by change the name on card. Would they charge me? If how much? yeah brother. We have to protect our self..... Fraud case in Malaysia is quite high nowadays.
If not just buy the Card Protection Plan that Maybank Currently offer. 30cent/day.... worth if you always travel

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jun 6 2011, 04:17 PM) When you go overseas, try prepare sufficient to use there. Only use the cash advance IF you really need it for super-emergency, e.g. lost all stuff, get robbed (except they don't rob your CC), hospital, etc. If it is because you check-in to a much expensive hotel, or for shopping, or some small usage due to over-budget (e.g. spend too much on shopping already), then forget about it. The charges and interest % is way too high. Anyway, the usage discretion is your own. Hi Buddy... Many thanks for the advise. Beside, if we did not register anything for ATM withdrawal. So anyone got our Credit Card they also could not withdraw the money right?

I planning to upgrade my maybank2card gold to platinum. I using the card since June 2011. Up to date the total amount I had swap is RM6K++. Every month clear the payment on the 1st day of the bill available. The problem is my income is not eligible me to carry platinum card. My annual income is around 36K only
The reason want to upgrade to platinum is because of it's benefit such as more promotions and travel insurance since i always traveling

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 24 2011, 03:10 PM) I guess the question is answered. And RM6k is still far from high. I know some people on gold card and consistently spend more than RM10k/month yet still don't get an upgrade. i got your point bro. My credit limit is low. I mostly swipe using another bankcard. If Maybank credit limit is high enough for me is good. This is because sometime i have to advance cash debit into my credit card in the middle of the month. This make me fell annoying.

QUOTE(zenquix @ Aug 25 2011, 06:17 PM) to be frank, it sounds like you are choosing which card to use based on the colour and not the promotions or features... if this is true, just cancel the cards and take the RM50 GST as a lesson to ask for the colour before you apply the card CIMB Petronsl and TNG plat, i cancel that card few month ago. It's did not give me any point and the rebate is far lower............ Spend so much with it at the end no point collected.........sad. Maybank2card. Is the best card that suite me..
