I've mentioned this shortly before this bata case, and I'm gonna say it again.

I made an account purchase at fileserve.com using my M2 amex and it's worth a mere RM30.

Less than 5 minutes after getting the account, I got a call from maybank to verify whether I did make that purchase.

This reminds me of my experience at Stansted airport.
There was this Chinese lady who had to pay for overweight luggage or something. The staff was reluctant to swipe her card, she said that the name is so different from the passport name. I didn't manage to hear the whole conversation between them but the chinese lady kept saying 'I can sign and show you my signature, I sign and you see' and the staff asked her 'do you have another card that has a name that is more similar to your passport' or something along those lines. The lady also said 'you can contact the bank if you don't believe me'.

Didn't stay long enough to find out the end result.

This makes sense.

Why the hell did they re-activate the card when it was already cancelled?

For the past 2 months or so, I have not paid my outstanding balance in full (M2Visa & M2Amex). Yet I don't see any finance charges till now.
Did Maybank ever offer 'zero finance charges for X months' during a certain sign up period or something?

oops.. thanks for that. I meant to say I didn't pay my statement balance in full.

I am still baffled why I have yet to receive any finance charges.
I have not been paying my statement balance in full for the past 4 months or so. I paid more than minimum though.

Mystery finally solved after I called the CS.

Rather embarrassing.
The finance charges don't appear in transaction history at M2U, only in the full statement.
