Just ensure that it's being processed and the transaction date falls within weekend. Just quote an example of Dell Online, they process it on weekdays.

Maybank is very stingy when it comes to increasing CL...
*
Strongly agreed on this point. Don't put high expectation.

citibank can temporary upgrade CL
*
MBB can upgrade limit temporary but not by pledging large amount of FD. Just go to nearest branch and fill in the form. The same form used for temporary or permanent limit increase.

if i not mistaken, temporary limit can be request via CS...
while permanent limit increase need form + supporting document. e.g. payslip
*
I doubt that. MBB is not as flexible as Citibank.

Just want to make sure how the interest works. My statement date is 26th August.

Lets say i have 1000RM owed at 26th will the interest calculate for that RM1000 or is the interest calculated when i do not pay the RM1000 before the PAYMENT DUE DATE
*
The interest will start to be incurred after payment due date. On top of that, you'll be charged for late payment fee.

One more question, how do we remove paper statement in maybank2u? can we do so? Tried looking for it inside cant really find it la
*
Just subscribe to e-Statement and you won't be receiving any paper statement starting the next bill cycle.

Recently I'm facing the problem with the treat points which earned through my Maybankard 2 Gold, AMEX

Based on what i know, the treat points gift redemption only available for VISA
treat points instead of AMEX....so what is the purpose treat points earned from AMEX card use for? Can anyone advise me, if I'm wrong.
*
TP for MBB2 AMEX & Visa/Mastercard can be combined for redemption.

And the Rm50 charge to master/visa will only come after few months while amex at the 1st month (my case). Question: how to use treatpoints to setoff the GST? just call cs?
*
If you have enough TP, you can just give a call to CS for GST redemption.

hi guys. long time no reply here biggrin.gif

updates:

1. some online merchant wont accept amex till u call amex helpline and ask to 'open slot' for that merchant.
i did it for more than 5 times already. maybank cs will ask u 'how long' need to 'open the slot', usually i said just for 1 hour.
at the time i'm typing this, airasia website still not implemented this security (just finished booking). MAS booked last month (aug) also same sweat.gif

2. now maybank keep calling me to verify amex transaction, usuallty after big amount swipe (example rm4k), and the cs will verify 3-4 previous transaction too.

3. supp line card CONFIRMED need to pay rm25x2 for govt tax. supp line card with m2u can view their card transaction but cannot pay.

4. if using visa/mastercard from maybankard 2 to purchase online, maybank will send TAC to mobilephone, instead using verified by visa or mastercard securecode. better for me, rather to remember password brows.gif

dats all 4 now ~
*
Item 4 is the enhancement to MSOS (Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode). Instead of keying a prefix 6-digit PIN that we set earlier, the system has now been improved by using the TAC method.

Item 1 is a little confusing and I don't really get you.

i'm quite confusing on the TAC method
last time i did an online transaction using CC, no TAC sent to me and payment already approve?
*
For AMEX, no TAC.

For Visa & Mastercard, it depends on the bank if they enforce Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode. For MBB, Verified by Visa or Mastercard Securecode are under MSOS system and it uses TAC methodology for online transaction approval.

yes.
the merchant of coz must support amex and have amex logo, can even select amex as payment option.
but if u just key-in ur amex info without call cs to open the slot, ur transaction will be failed.

here the example of the website:

[attachmentid=2456527]

note: this is malaysian registered-based website. if call maybank cs and ask to open the slot for this company, they already know about this company.
previously, too many scam happen at this website. people using stolen amex number to pay.
thats why the implement this security (co-operate with maybank?).

it just like this (called at 4pm):

me: hello. i want you to open my amex card for "airasia" (example).
cs: ok. pls give ur amex card number.
me: <give amex card number>.
cs: need to verify (ic, last transaction, last payment method, got tNg or not, etc.).
me: <verifying>.
cs: <verified>. ok how long u want to open it? till midnight?.
me: 2 hours is enough. tq.
*
Previously, I made a payment online to Airasia also can go through without the need to call CS to "open the slot". That happened this year February. Any changes lately that I'm not aware of for online transaction using AMEX?

Do we have a list of merchants or online merchants that implement such security approach?
