QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 18 2011, 11:17 AM) I think I have the answer already, I hardly swipe my cards because I hardly buy stuffs. Nothing to redeem @ 10k also. TP is evergreen. Can accumulate slowly. But if you don't use it is just a number right? To earn back 10k seems difficult for me, I will pay then. Never mind, I still can consider till mid of next month. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 18 2011, 12:10 PM) 10k TP to redeem RM50 GST is equivalent to 5% cash rebate on your spendingsCheck the other vouchers that you can redeem some vouchers are RM100 for 20k TP (5%), some are RM100 for 19k TP (>5%), some are RM100 for 21k TP (<5%) Depending on your shopping preference and type of voucher, you might want to choose the one that gives you maximum cash rebate %. This means, if you shop alot on shops that you can get voucher with >5% equivalent cash rebate, keep your TPs, let it accumulate, and exchange for those. If not, then use it to redeem the GST |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Jul 12 2011, 03:01 PM) lol late reply, but no Yes, Someone will Clear for me once i "Handled" the $$ to them. But in this case, i have no chance to clear it due to... >.<" haven't reach Statement date Just verified with the CS. Two Types of Supplementary 1. Joint Acc (my current one), means my C.C. Linked to Principal, despite it shows @ mb2u savings acc (got cards area), it's Limit and total Usage will be always the Principal (For the Limit) and and 0 for the usage. You will Never be able to pay through M2U using that account, must go to Cash Deposit, or write cheque into the C.C. But you can still see the total spendings. Even if you Put 2k into the bank, it will still not clear out your Limit, and will only clear out ONCE statement dates +1 have reached, then you will again have 2.5k full limit again despite you have spend and if you haven't PAY a single cent on the last statement date. 2.Seperate acc, almost the same except you will see yr limit and spendings, and the total usage will be showed clearly. Good thing about this type is you will be able to clear out the balance and reuse the Credit Limit Despite it has not reached the statement date yet. BUT it will not Refresh your account nor Clear off yr Credit Limits automatically even thou you didn't pay a sen after statement date. So... Either i shall consider using this card until End of the year. (Or be4 GST charges for the 2nd time), or just apply a new MBB2 once my salary reaches required level... I miss this black card |

You don't get back your credit if you don't make payment. The credit assigned to you will just get lower and lower. The statement date till due date only gives you extra 20 days of interest free for that portion but if you need to make use of the credit, you must pay. |

QUOTE(hye @ Jul 17 2011, 08:42 AM) 1. They will ask you why they should upgrade you to Platinum I didn't ask for gold card, i just click on their advertisement link and they sent me the card without asking for documents or asking what kind of card i want to get. My income is enough to get MBB platinum, and i got HSBC Signature already. I want to get MBB platinum because it provide retail purchase protection & greater privilege. i just want to know whether mbb can upgrade the existing card to platinum, i don't want to reapply for new card because i just paid the RM50 gst2. MBB will ask you to provide with supplemental income document which support your claims. Why don't you just live with the Gold card ? If you are not eligible for Platinum then just live with it. This forum doesn't work miracles for card upgrades if you are not eligible for it. This post has been edited by cheyhaw: Jul 18 2011, 09:28 PM |

You can upgrade but have to pay GST again. You can try to ask for GST reversal but not likely will be granted. No harm trying, at least send them a signal. Do feedback if you manage to reverse the GST, perhaps I am just a small fry.

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Jul 19 2011, 12:00 AM) I do experienced this. Few year ago on my MBB Sony Card, the difference is RM10,000. What ? That's insane!QUOTE(mletee @ Jul 19 2011, 12:10 AM) i think ur limit in M2U muz be much more higher than the credit limit stated in the letter.. I suppose so. It's my mom's actually. Brought her to register for M2U yesterday and was quite surprise to see that the credit limit stated there is actually higher than the one stated in the letter. |
