malaysian model come in version 3.0 or 3.1?
*
The unit I bought came with WW firmware V8.2.3.13 using 3.0, the 3.1 update just came out 2 days ago, performance for everything except Javascript was improved. Some extra apps were also bundled in together.

By the way, why couldn't I get skype from the market while I was in Kl ? Back home in the Netherlands Skype is in the market and now it's on my TF.
*
The scum at Skype have decided to target their Android app only to a few specific regions and then blame the Android Market for causing the region lock. The only workaround is to sideload the app.

Wait for Galaxy tab if you need want the latest and thinnest and lightest Honeycomb tab, but i'm sure it will cost more than TF
*
Unlikely, see the Singapore prices for the Tab 10.1. It will cost the same as the iPad 2 here down to the last single ringgit I'd bet.

Maxis may be the one to bring it in and as usual jack up the price together with their plans.
*
How would Maxis bring it in and jack it up when only the Wifi model is available now?

I recommen Vplayer instead. But MOBO is free and Vplayer has 7 days trial. But you can google around if you know what I mean. I'll perhaps buy the Vplayer once expired.

The reason, Vplayer really can play lots of format. Honestly, I have not tried RMVB.. but MKV, AVI, WMV etc all ok.

But the HD version will lag... really need next honeycomb update to fix this I guess.
*
Most of these players will lag in HD due to the usage of software decoders, rather than hardware ones, which drain battery more and aren't as capable. The most you can do is OC the processor to reduce the lag somewhat.

Hey what do you mean my OC? Overclock?

avtually, the stock player can play the HD movie smoothly using hardware accelarion, but somehow it cant decode the audio... so....
*
I believe the stock player only uses hardware decode.

Tegra 2 supports the following:

Video
Decode - H.264, VC-1 AP, MPEG2, MPEG-4, DivX 4/5, XviD HT, H.263, Theora, VP8, WMV, Sorenson Spark, Real Video, VP6
Encode - H.264, MPEG4, H.263, VP8
Video Teleconference (VTC) - H.264, MPEG4, H.263, VP8

Audio (* = Through third party)
Decode - AAC-LC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, MP3 VBR, WAV/PCM, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, BSAC, MPEG-2 Audio, Vorbis, WMA 9, WMA Lossless, WMA Pro, G.729a *, G.711 *, QCELP *, EVRC *
Encode - AAC LC, AAC+, eAAC+, PCM/WAV, AMR-NB, AMR-WB

If the audio or video file isn't in this list, chances are the stock player won't play it.

In comparison, here's what the I believe Exynos supports (based on SGS2 spec sheet):
Audio - AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, WAV, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, OGG, WMA, MID, AC3, IMY, FLAC, XMF
Video - MPEG4, H.264, H.263, WMV, DivX, Xvid, VC-1
