went to owyat today .
test the asus transformer,looks nice .the screen view is good.
camera abit sucks. i really want this tab.

before i wnt to buy this i wanted to ask few ques
1) can the usb (in the keyboard) use broadband internet ???
2)will there be a 3g version of this transformer??
3) i need an apps that works exactly like vlc on iphone/ipad .vlc can play all video files so far and no lag .
4) the microsoft office(polaris office) does it works well ???like a pc msoft office ??
5) should i buy the tab now or wait for 3g versions or other models?

U reply late sad.gif . I was looking at the iconia looks good but looks like it lag a bit comPared to TF. In the end i buy Tf.. But the keyboard looks a bit lag and hard to connect with the tab. Android market doesnt works well as phone android market.. Hurm btw.. The seller said that the usb can connect to 500gb hdd.true?@kwong I buy in lg floor i think.near a way out of lowyat. The shop name samsung but it combines with asus and other company. Infront of celcom promo .i buy with a dock rm1799. I was also looking for ipad 2 but most seller sells at high price and they said cannot be jailbeak..

It works but playing video using rockplayer is laggy and make my tf hang. Need to turn off n on again. Btw my biggest prob now is i can download any apps at all now. Android market says that i need to go to my apps to establish connection . Other thing is the keyboard. I insert it , there a click sound and there a cursor which mean its already connected but i can move the unlock slider to the right? Maybe its not fully connected with the keyboard?

When I doc my pad onto the keyboard, the lock moved to the center only, it didn't move to the right most, should it be in the center or right most? the docking cnnection always get loose when i am moving around with the transfrmer. Of course i am holding the keyboard  when i lift it, not the pad. Anyone got this problem?

yeah me too. it move to the center only.but it can be moved to the right if u try many times..but most of the time i only got center which is annoying someimes but i think center is considered ok too
btw i found a way. u insert in unti center,then press your tab really hard until it moves to the rightno harm far .

bcause i change the proxy at hidemyass, change the port but there no hostname so i just put anything ..
but after that it can't connect to my wifi ..
need to cancel the proxy and my wifi works again

u go HideMyAss, the top there, click on the IP:Port Proxies
filter with the following: Country: US, connection type: HTTPS, Connection Speed: Fast, Connection Time: Fast, Anonymity level: up to u = done

to go the short cut u created, type in the IP, the port number type in the Port field, and "bypass proxy for" leave blank. try connecting to internet using browser first, cos some proxy wont be up for so long, while some other takes forever to reach, so u need to do some testing on which proxy IP is best for u... and everything u use proxy u'll need to do this again, but normally connection should be good to go after 1-2 tests

the ip number is in no proxy for??
port and the ip(no proxy number) is from hidemyass right ?
what about the hostname ??

i can't see the "bypass proxy for" u mention

Note 1: You need to just add the proxy IP address and Port. Leave the rest blank. --- - cannot..it says the port field must be empty if the host field is empty meaning i need to fill hostname, port and no proxy for

btw how to know i install adobe flas player or not ??most website that have flash opens as mobile browser

i go to android market ->my apps can't find adobe flash player
when i search it on market,it says open but then the requested file is not found
.still can't download angry birds.but lucky got .apk but hard to find

i din't update to 3.1 yet although there a notification of update.

but i can donlod angry birds season now. .
and also speedx 3d .

i want to root but ..is it risky ? and if i update 3.1? can root? i heard 3.0 is ok to root

if its charging ,in the keyboard there will be blinking orange colour in the left of your keyboard,then after few minutes it will be orange most of the time until it turn green/yellow when its 100% finish charge

btw wanted to ask,i hve only charge the TF one time only.
but the charging is damn long ..its like 4 hours for for full charge.
i charged it together with the keyboard .
how bout u guys who only charge it with only the tab.how many hours for full ??

use TF without keyboard until its 60% then use with keyboard,it charged the TF until 95% then it went down again .. i can say that the battery is good so far ,so the keyboard is a must buy !! to give more battery to your TF.

edit...sorry .the colour is on the charger not the keyboard.

market works now but some of the apps doesn't work for TF. most of em are for phones ..

I got prob with my tf. The touch screen doesnt work at all. I can only play using the keyboard..
