es fe - unable to go further than [ip add] / got Login failure
fm hd - unable to scan and connection test failed

tried guest, own username, turn off private network firewall.... still no luck. am i missing anything here?

QUOTE(Atsutane-Shirane @ Jul 1 2011, 07:25 AM)
Try follow the instruction here: http://www.clayworldsoftware.com/index.php...-this-computer/

I manage to see and sync file from my PC... Also make sure you set Everyone as permission to see your shared folder...
*
unfortunately, still cant. es still show Error, cant find server.. and if only ip address, login failure
- created new account with admin rights
- case sensitive paths
- turn off firewall
- ensured file sharing on and permission

does being in homegroup matters?

i still cant figure out how to connect shared drives using es and fm hd. oh well. nd to tweak more.

btw, just bought a bag from pg IT fair at d'piazza. a vztec bag for 12.1". VZ-LB-1612. its a 3in1 type. too bad no 10.2" type to be perfect fitting, bt it still does the job. RM55.

UPDATE: DOH! darn it... ive found the problem. silly me. i was still dumbfounded on why i could'nt connect after i tried a lot of settings on my Win7. until i realised i havent checked my 3yr++ old wi-fi router. and lo and behold, i was logged in using GUEST(PSK), hence no connection to local shared.... sweat.gif

after re-login with the actual personal pwd, everything was smooth... thanks for being patient with me~!

about charging, i believe the xda forum had found a way:
- the asus charger will actually output 11v frm the usb +ve n -ve ports. this is by detecting 2 shorted pins on the usb3.0 pins on the tf101 side.
- in short, u nd a 11v supply via usb supply pins to charge the tf101
hence the 'specific' usb extension cables

asus charger > asus cable > tf101
asus charger > usb3.0 ext (male-female) > asus cable > tf101
11v charger (11v instead of 5v via usb pins) > usb 2.0 / 3.0 m-f ext cable > asus cable > tf101

u can read up at the xda forum. do take note on the current (amperes) requirements as well!! not for the faint hearted.
