i think it's because the system doesnt recognize the file extention... have u try holding the file to see what are the advance menu, if there's a open as, just choose video, and it will ask u which player you wanna use...

btw forgot about the keyboard handwriting input thing... but then again, might not be accurate cos mine is already custom rom

just go root ur device and enable the ad-hoc like mike said, i have ad-hoc enabled with custom rom as well

i was using magnus, it's not bad, just for fun flash to 1.5, i feel like prime is smoother then magnus.. maybe it's just me lar
actually it's just using some of the 8.4.4.7 firmware feature add on, basically a mix of 8.4.4.5 and 8.4.4.7, and by default apply the ad-hoc wifi patch, along with some other minor feature additions.. if u already have those don bother lol...

what about kernal? what kernal u using? i now using clemsyn v15, i tried the super elite kernal before, went restart when i try run big bang racing when i push to 1.7Ghz... last night wasnt free to try again, maybe tonight i try again with v16

i was a newbie when i got my TF also, really never used any android device before... but u can just learn by exploring. rooting is not hard at all, in fact, it's quite easy now with nvflash method. connect ur TF to ur PC, boot in APX mode(hold power + up volume button), install the driver for it, run 1-2 batch file, reboot, and there, rooted. whole process takes less then 5 minutes

some of us mentioned something about the battery drains faster when we put it to idle with the keyboard right? i think i noticed one thing... when we just close the lid when we dock the keyboard, the LCD with be turned off for 2 seconds, then turned back on at minimum brightness, at least for my unit, and that would totally explain why it's draining more battery then usual. i also notice if i put my TF to sleep(press power button) before closing the lid, it will not have such situation, maybe close lid will not bring TF into deep sleep state...

can anyone else confirm this?

actually there's a thread on XDA mentioned that some ppl have already manage to make some of the 3G USB modem working, but u will need to flash to Prime v1.5 and run some script to have the driver in the custom rom, more info here:

and i'm certain some custom rom will include this later on, so if u wanna save urself from these flashing + running script, maybe just give some time to custom rom makers to integrate it in

Added on July 5, 2011, 11:31 amlast time i read somewhere(if not here) that the TF will need 11V to start charge, and our standard USB 2.0 is just only 5V, u can try USB3.0, dunno what's their maximum voltage output though... and i also think inside the manual it mention using USB 2.0 it will only charge when the tablet is on sleep mode

really? i also see only some in XDA claims that they didnt ancounter that issue, and it's only caused by mainly improper docking... but my dock is firmly attached edi ler... have u tried peeking into the gap to check? cos that's how i discovered it

anyone else can verify this?

when u just close, u see it's total dark there inside, then u continue look inside, u notice suddenly bright again, then i try really slowly opening up the lid, and i notice the LCD is already on when the lid was tightly closed... not just causing more battery, might also cause ghosting in later months

did u do anything to solve it?
