i've called up evernew on friday and they did explain to me the stocks that the other resellers had are a separate full set batch but they are limited units. While it is not fair that we spent our time and hassle to line up and all that but didnt get the full set first, we were the first 200 to use the tablet first, which could count for something at least and given the free sleeve which is a small consolation. I'm not entirely happy with the situation either but i considered this: i dont have to fight with others later on to get the dock. Assuming I (or yourself) did not go to mid valley last saturday to get the tablet (and paid deposit/full amount for the dock), we would have to then fight with others to buy the full set units before the could have been potentially sold off (which i think some resellers are already out of stock but i think still got some might have full set available, no idea on this but i do know cycom is out of stock based on their thread). so this is the thing that i considered and i think we should be happy about this. We're still getting a fully functioning device, just not the full transformer set which hopefully we'll get it soon enough. I too want the keyboard dock now but its just something we have to live with. Truly bad marketing on asus side. I do somehow hope they surprise us and give us something free in return for our loyalty and patience as a customer although i kinda doubt it since we already got the sleeve..but we'll see...maybe we should complain more? i dont see anyone complaining on their facebook site

It works but playing video using rockplayer is laggy and make my tf hang. Need to turn off n on again. Btw my biggest prob now is i can download any apps at all now. Android market says that i need to go to my apps to establish connection . Other thing is the keyboard. I insert it , there a click sound and there a cursor which mean its already connected but i can move the unlock slider to the right? Maybe its not fully connected with the keyboard?

the slider should be auto move to the right when u fully fit into the dock.

Try remove your email from account. Then click market and insert again the email. That what I do

for u guys that are facing lag typing in website especially here in lowyat.net and xda-developers.com give opera mobile 11 a try.

it seems to completely solve the laggy typing for me irregardless of asus keyboard or honeycomb standard keyboard. Now can feel the power of multitouch capable keyboard cause no more lags :-)

But... then it don't have chrome bookmark sync...

erm chrome sync not useful to me at all compared to the lag free typing I'm enjoying now. anyway, if u have plenty of bookmatks that u need to have then u can make use of opera link and do the import from PC then sync to your tablet.

ps : on notebook my main browser is Firefox :-P

suggest you let us know what kind of issue you're facing such as any error messages? stuck at downloading 99%..or ? Otherwise i dont think we can advice you on such a general statement such as "i have a problem updating to 3.1, please advice/help". please give us more info so we can assist you. thanks

my main browser on notebook is also chrome. that's why I kinda like default browser feel - feels like chrome. but I guess no choice, maybe will use alternate browser for problematic sites.

Sorry for posting such a general q. Btw, just got my transformer and wish to proceed with the update with go to settings > about tablet > system update > click on check update

It run very long with the blue circle spinning and spinning......

just got my TF from MTCS. do i need to charge the dock+tablet for 7hrs before i can turn it on?

do you see anything extra in your notification bar below like something about a firmware downloading or anything? if not, perhaps you can try to shutdown and start your transformer again and try check update again. also this depends on your internet connection, if it is slow or intermittent (bad line, keeps trying to reconnect to the server), it may take a while.

EDIT: Just tested on my tablet too (even though i already have 3.1 installed), takes long time to respond but at the end it does respond with no updates (for me cos i'm already on 3.1). Just try again and see how it goes. Or try again later if it still doesnt work.

just leave it on or restart. patience is the key. it will arrive. in the meantime, enjoy the tablet. dun let the lack of 3.1 stop u from enjoying the TF.
the above reply is from sensation thread. I though processor for TF is similar in terms of sped but sensation can play 1080 files?

Bro.... It run a while then shown there is no update available for your device currently

when u plug in, it will turn on by itself. for me, i just did the initial setup and then put it on standby. very painful 8 hrs wait.

ok first thing first, are you on 3.0 or 3.1 actually? Do check in the settings > about tablet > android version. If its 3.0 by right there should be an update unless yours is a different version (perhaps you are using a custom ROM - if you dont know what this is then nevermind, means you're not using a custom ROM). Also let us know your build number for reference to know if it is the WW version, US version, TW version, etc.

Same as yours..i cant evn install flash plyer that pops out after everytime i open the browser. Alreadytrry tips on 1st page dint work
