tiensong, try a shade of green. Not light green, but kind of medium greenish brown . think it looks modern.

My contractor quote me RM3 psf for removing and levelling.  Removing parque should be easy job.  But levelling should cost more as there may be a lot of materials required to level the whole floor, not room by room. couple with higher floor.  He told me he lost money charging RM2k for previous job.

My plan is use parque, if next time got 2nd phase only change the wardrop and flooring.  Just to maintain the budget limit which already bloated.

my indon contractor only charge rm120 to remove my 200sft parque. However, one contractor did post this question.. he ask

'why wanna remove when it's still nice? prices of wood has gone up. besides, laminated flooring isn't real wood'

kinda makes sense. So now i'm thinking whether it's worth the hoo haa to remove the parque which is still good.

erm..don't have wor. But do you go to PJ? Take a look at the newly build Tropics next to Tropicana City Mall. The colour is white + greenish brown. I think it's very nice.

Last time ppl used to paint medium grey + white. Now I think can try greenish brown + white. This is what i gonna do for my house smile.gif
